PLANE DRAWINGS

Drawings made while looking out the window of planes. Often, these are “blind drawings”, when I draw without looking at the drawing as I make it.

Some of these drawings are made on a sequence of pages in a regular sketchbook, some are made in a folding “accordion” sketchbook. In both cases, I have arranged them as a grid of images to convey the sense of the fabric of the landscape across time.
