BOAT DRAWINGS
Drawings made while moving across the water on a boat.
Some of these drawings are made on a sequence of pages in a regular sketchbook, some are made in a folding “accordion” sketchbook. Some of the drawings were made in the course of one-day excursion lasting an hour or a few hours, others were made over the course of a longer voyage. In both cases, I have presented them as a single scroll, to capture the sense of directional movement - the sense of sliding-by - that you get while traveling across the water.
